The beautiful Fontanie family recently welcomed their third child into the world: A little girl after two boys!
This incredible location in El Dorado Hills, CA is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite spots. With the rolling hills in the back, the mountains and gorgeous light.

A fun game to play is, "Is it going to rain or not?!" The wind started to roll in along with darker clouds prior to this family session, but we were able to successfully beat it! If I see a storm predication on the weather forecast, I will generally recommend that we try and move your session up in time to avoid the rain. Gloomy clouds can actually provide an amazing scenery as it diffuses the light.
These kids have a Mom who is an instagram content creator, so they knew exactly how to rock a photoshoot. We had a blast at this beautiful location in El Dorado HIlls, CA

The Family Experience
So often we find ourselves saying "Maybe next year we will take family pictures" or "Maybe when I lose more weight we will take family pictures."
I encourage you to change that mindset. As a Mom of two babies I see first hand how QUICKLY our babies grow up.
I work to make my sessions a fun memory vs a dreaded experience. I will always capture those posed family photos, but I will also take time for you to embrace and look at your kids for who they are in that moment. I will do fun candid poses that get you moving, hugging, throwing them in the air, having tickle fights, dance parties, etc.
My goal is to make you and your kids WANT to come back year after year.

Once you inquire and I am available for your session date, we can schedule your session. YAY. There are a few necessary documents that I will send your way immediately.

This will solidify your spot on my schedule and you will be ALL BOOKED!
2. Schedule it
Planning a photoshoot can sound stressful, but don't worry, I will help take away a lot of the stress! Two things that I send out immediately after booking to help you is:
1) Client Questionnaire - I will get to know a little about your family and you will be able to tell me any specifics that you are wanting during your session (ex: I really want one photo of my daughter on my husbands shoulders). We will also go over the location for your session.
4) Style Guide - My personalized style guide that I have put a ton of thought into! This will help direct you towards clothing that looks the best with my editing style. It goes over all things for adults and kids from head to toe.
3. Planning it
Yay, the day we have been planning for is here! It is session day.
As long as the weather is good, we will meet at the time we discussed. Your session will be anywhere from 45-60 minutes. Oftentimes kids or family members are in moods where we can move quickly though your session. However, if your child needs a little extra time or some breaks, I will always accommodate those.
Your session will be a combination of guided posed and candid images. I will do breakdown photos and individual photos of children.

4. Your Session
Yay, its gallery day!!
Within two weeks you will receive your gallery in your inbox. I deliver my galleries in a personalized, private online gallery where you will be able to view and download your images in a high quality format. Printing options will also be available.
Unless you are a mini session client, you will receive approximately 20+ images in your gallery.
5. Your Photographs

Family sessions beginning at $499
Family sessions are 45-60 minutes long. Outdoor sessions generally begin at Golden hour. Studio sessions begin mid-day.
